What You Will Do
- Training Maintenance
- Administer classroom, virtual, and web-based courses using COTS, customized, or agency-developed materials.
- Deliver live instructor-led training in both traditional and virtual environments.
- Develop course materials, handouts, instructor guides, and visual aids.
- Support distance learning through online courses, mobile learning, webcasts, podcasts, and video-based training.
- Manage the agency's Learning Management System (LMS): upload content, maintain modules, and ensure Section 508 compliance.
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and analytics; recommend improvements.
- Coordinate logistics for instructor-led and virtual sessions, including scheduling and prerequisite tracking.
- Provide technical support and customer service for training participants.
- Training Redesign
- Conduct training needs assessments across all practitioner levels.
- Redesign existing courses and develop new curriculum to support financial and acquisitions operations.
- Create innovative learning solutions (gamification, blended/hybrid models, interactive e-learning).
- Develop certification programs aligned with federal standards.
- Pilot new courses, gather feedback, and refine before full rollout.
- Ensure all materials remain current with policy, system, and organizational changes.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years in instructional design, training development, and delivery.
- Expertise in adult learning theory and technology-enabled training.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency with LMS administration and virtual learning platforms.
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards (i.e.: All deliverables must be Section 508 compliant and free of macros).
- Ability to integrate emerging technologies (AI, automation) into training programs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.
- Must be a US citizen or have US residency for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
- Compliance with federal security, privacy, and records management policies.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPTD, ATD) preferred.
- Familiarity with federal financial management and acquisitions training is a plus.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00–$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
