Core Responsibilities
- Partner with senior investment professionals (PMs, CIOs, COOs, Heads of Operations) to understand their business goals and translate them into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Own client relationships end-to-end, managing expectations, deepening engagements, and identifying new opportunities.
- Lead projects from inception to delivery, ensuring the final product solves the actual business problem.
- Design data architectures and analytics solutions that fit the client's investment workflow.
- Use Python and SQL to build dashboards, analytics tools, and investment applications.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
- Guide architectural decisions across modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, cloud infrastructure).
Qualifications
- Prior experience within an investment management or trading organization (hedge funds, asset managers, quant shops, or market makers).
- Demonstrated project leadership and comfort managing relationships with senior executives.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and application development.
- A strong conceptual understanding of modern data infrastructure.
Valued
- Management consulting experience (strategy or implementation).
- Experience at financial technology firms serving asset managers.
- Familiarity with investment operations, portfolio analytics, or fund accounting workflows.

Location & Compensation
Location: Hybrid in the NYC area. Expect to travel roughly one week per month for on-site client work.
Compensation: Total compensation: $250k to $500k (commensurate with experience)
