Responsibilities
- Collaborate across management to develop solutions and messaging for internal and external clients
- Manage negotiations and policy requirements related to inter-plan programs
- Act as a subject matter expert in legal matters related to policies and business practices
- Maintain strong relationships with plan colleagues to support membership retention
- Review and recommend changes to policy affecting program fees
- Oversee project management for strategic initiatives within commercial sales markets
- Support the Senior Vice President and national markets management team in resolving issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Care Management, or 6 years of progressive inter-plan, consultative, or cede experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of experience with inter-plan programs and policies for commercial group business
- 3 years of consultative experience with plan partners
- 3 years in project management focusing on strategic initiatives and negotiations
