Senior Consultant - Grants Development and Management
About the role
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Consultant to join the Grants Strategy and Development Team in our Florida offices. The following locations will be considered: Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tallahassee, and open to other offices within the state. WSP’s Grants Strategy and Development Team supports our clients in planning, securing, and managing grant funding from federal, state, and local sources. We offer clients the technical and strategic experience to navigate every stage of the grant lifecycle, from strategy to close-out. The Senior Consultant role is a senior position within the Economics, Finance and Grants team, which offers great opportunities for professional growth. You will work directly with public and private organizations across the country to lead infrastructure‑related engagements and provide expert grant management services to support investment, funding, and delivery decisions. Responsibilities
- Lead post-award grant management and compliance strategies for public infrastructure projects, on behalf of clients, and in collaboration with the Advisory team and other WSP practice groups
- Contribute to various business development efforts with a particular emphasis on building the Grant Strategy and Development Team’s portfolio of post-award grant management support contracts – from opportunity identification, proposal development, interview and negotiations
- Leverage professional network across industry to support business development opportunities, marketing, proposals, and cross-selling of other WSP capabilities
- Contribute to client engagement and foster client relationships
