Senior Consultant, Functional Transformation

Join Deloitte's Customer team to empower organizations in building deeper customer relationships through innovative strategies, advanced analytics, Generative AI, transformative technologies, and creative design. This role focuses on enhancing customer experiences and driving sustained growth and value creation via customer and commercial strategies, digital products, innovation, marketing, commerce, sales, and service.

The team comprises strategists, data scientists, operators, creatives, designers, engineers, and architects, balancing business strategy, technology, creativity, and managed services to solve complex customer challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design agentic solution archetypes leveraging available agentic and cloud technology to demonstrate use cases or scenarios.
• Document solutions using LucidChart or similar tools and advise the engineering team on development based around the archetype.
• Interview and coordinate with other agentic solution development teams to learn and evangelize best practices and emerging trends.
• Research and explore market innovations and advancements in this rapidly evolving space, including new models, platforms, packages, frameworks, and standards (e.g., A2A, A2UI, MCP, OTEL, swarms).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of consulting and/or Customer operate/implement experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on solution engineering experience on at least one hyperscaler cloud (AWS or GCP preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on work and client needs.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing global service delivery from multiple centers.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, etc.).
• Expertise in an industry vertical (e.g., Financial Services, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Technology, Retail, Media).
• Experience presenting to clients or decision-makers to sell ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable using AI development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code).

Pay

The wage range for this role considers factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. The disclosed range estimate is $86,700 - $170,900 and may vary based on geographic location. Compensation decisions depend on individual and organizational performance. You may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules.
