About the role
Partner Forces is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and mission-driven Senior Consultant, Cybersecurity & Critical Infrastructure to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Responsibilities
- Support strategic cybersecurity and critical infrastructure initiatives for DHS and CISA clients.
- Advise government leaders on complex mission challenges and develop actionable recommendations.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working groups with government, industry, and technical stakeholders.
- Develop executive briefings, reports, strategic plans, white papers, and other client deliverables.
- Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, actionable information for technical and executive audiences.
- Cook up multiple client priorities while maintaining exceptional quality and responsiveness in a fast-moving environment.
- Conduct research and analysis on emerging cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, and national security topics.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, teammates, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, thought leadership, and internal corporate projects.
- Mentor junior consultants through Partner Forces' apprenticeship model and foster a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with experience developing communications for executive and external audiences.
- Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder or membership-based relationships and building trusted partnerships.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands.
- Experience working directly with senior leaders and executives in a professional advisory capacity.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work products.
- Able to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and work effectively in a dynamic client environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, homeland security, or national security initiatives.
- Experience supporting federal government clients, preferably within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), or related agencies.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cyber risk management, and the critical infrastructure landscape.
- Experience managing or supporting strategic initiatives in a client-facing consulting or advisory environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings, building consensus, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to think strategically while remaining adaptable to changing client priorities and emerging mission needs.
- Willingness to work onsite in the Washington, DC metro area.

- An estimate of the salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 USD.
