Primary Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply banking, financial institution, payments, treasury, retail banking, commercial banking, or related industry knowledge to MarketView client work.
  • Evaluate client data, account structures, product usage, fee opportunities, pricing, service models, operational considerations, and market trends.
  • Identify meaningful insights, risks, gaps, opportunities, and recommendations based on data and banking knowledge.
  • Translate complex banking and financial information into clear, practical, client-ready business recommendations.
  • Speak credibly with financial institution clients and internal leaders regarding banking-related findings and recommendations.
  • Stay current on relevant banking trends, financial institution priorities, market pressures, and client needs that may impact MarketView work.
  • Evaluate client issues, project risks, financial impact, and recommended next steps with sound judgment.

Client Delivery and Project Ownership

  • Lead assigned MarketView engagements, workstreams, analyses, or deliverables from start to completion.
  • Manage assigned project work with strong organization, communication, and followthrough.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to gather data, confirm assumptions, complete analysis, and prepare deliverables.
  • Track assigned project items, open questions, deadlines, risks, and followup items through completion.
  • Communicate timely updates to MarketView leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure assigned client work is completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule.

Analysis, Deliverables, and Recommendations

  • Review, organize, and analyze client data, banking information, pricing, account activity, financial impact, and other relevant inputs.
  • Prepare executive-ready client deliverables, including analysis, findings, recommendations, reports, presentations, summaries, and supporting materials.
  • Develop recommendations that are practical, well-supported, and connected to client goals.
  • Clearly explain the "so what" behind data, findings, risks, and opportunities.
  • Review deliverables carefully for accuracy, logic, formatting, grammar, calculations, assumptions, and completeness before submitting or presenting.
  • Identify missing information, inconsistent data, unclear assumptions, or potential issues before work is finalized.

Client Communication and Presentation

  • Communicate professionally and confidently with clients, internal leaders, and project stakeholders.
  • Support or lead client meetings, discovery discussions, project updates, findings reviews, and final presentations as assigned.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly, logically, and with appropriate confidence.
  • Respond to client questions thoughtfully and escalate items that require leadership input.
  • Prepare for client conversations by understanding the project, data, recommendations, risks, and likely questions.
  • Represent Ceto in a polished, credible, and client-focused manner.
  • Build trust with clients through responsiveness, preparation, accuracy, and sound judgment.

Quality Review and Team Support

  • Review work prepared by Analysts, Consultants, and other team members for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and client readiness.
  • Provide practical feedback to improve analysis, writing, formatting, data interpretation, and consulting judgment.
  • Help junior team members understand banking concepts, MarketView methodology, client expectations, and deliverable standards.
  • Help strengthen templates, tools, processes, checklists, and best practices used in MarketView delivery.
  • Promote consistency, quality, and accountability across assigned project work.
  • Identify recurring errors, process gaps, training needs, or quality concerns and raise them to MarketView leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Business Development, Research, Client Success, VendorLink, NexBridge, NOVA, and other internal teams as needed.
  • Provide subject matter input during sales handoffs, project scoping, client preparation, and internal planning.
  • Help ensure client expectations are clearly understood and translated into project work.
  • Support internal alignment by communicating project status, risks, deliverable needs, and client considerations.
  • Demonstrate awareness of Ceto’s broader solution offerings and identify potential opportunities where another solution may support the client.
  • Collaborate professionally with internal stakeholders and avoid working in silos.

Accuracy, Judgment, and Attention to Detail

  • Review all work carefully before sending, submitting, or marking complete.
  • Confirm names, dates, titles, numbers, assumptions, calculations, attachments, formatting, deadlines, recipients, and next steps before sharing work.
  • Think through the downstream impact of recommendations, client communications, project decisions, and deliverables.
  • Ask for clarification when project scope, data, expectations, or recommendations are unclear.
  • Demonstrate consistent ownership, accuracy, judgment, professionalism, and followthrough.

Confidentiality and Professionalism

  • Maintain confidentiality of client information, financial data, banking information, employee information, company strategy, and internal business matters.
  • Handle client and company information with care and discretion.
  • Use professional judgment when communicating with clients, employees, managers, executives, and internal partners.
  • Escalate sensitive matters, client concerns, risks, or unusual issues promptly.
  • Represent MarketView and Ceto in a professional, responsive, credible, and client-focused manner.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Banking, financial institution, payments, treasury, retail banking, commercial banking, or bank consulting experience required.
  • Prior consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at a true senior consultant level with limited oversight.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to translate data and complex findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Experience working directly with clients, senior stakeholders, or financial institution leaders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to review and improve the work of junior team members.
  • Strong ownership, judgment, accountability, responsiveness, and followthrough.
