About the role

The Senior Consultant will join the Financial Advisory Services practice within the CFO Advisory team. This high-performing team includes professionals with diverse backgrounds—former CFOs, Controllers, auditors, and financial analysts—who provide practical, hands-on support to solve problems and drive improvements. The role involves active participation in projects focused on finance performance improvement, business analytics, financial accounting advisory, transaction support, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in projects across finance performance improvement, business analytics, financial accounting advisory, transaction support, and program/project management.
• Collaborate directly with managers and partners on client and engagement management.
• Strengthen client relationships by delivering outstanding service to business owners, executive management, investors, and lenders.
• Invest in professional development through training sessions and networking events.
• Assist with recruiting activities, including campus recruiting and employee referrals.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, a positive attitude, and high ethical standards.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in a large accounting firm in audit or financial advisory.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting and finance tools, with skills in Power BI and/or Tableau as a plus.
• Exposure to middle-market financial applications (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, IntAcct) and their workflows is beneficial.
• High motivation, initiative, and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Intermediate Excel and modeling skills, with experience conducting complex financial analysis.
• Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Approximately 25% travel required.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $86,660 to $164,300, influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
