About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This leadership role oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, client communication, and field operations while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong construction management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for assigned construction projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project.
  • Lead project teams, including project managers, field personnel, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project schedules and coordinate activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve project issues.
  • Promote and enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance across all project activities.
  • Review project risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts, including reviewing project opportunities and assisting with budgeting.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, contract compliance, and project coordination.
  • Mentor and support project team members while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Experience with design-build or alternative project delivery methods is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Sage, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
