About the role
A Senior Construction Project Manager is needed to lead large-scale repair and restoration projects in the NY City Metro and Long Island City areas. Key responsibilities include managing projects from pre-construction to closeout, overseeing project financials, and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful execution of large-scale repair and restoration projects ranging from approximately $5M to $15M+
- Drive project performance through project planning, execution, financial management, and closeout activities
- Maintain full P&L responsibility, forecast, budget, and cost control
- Develop and manage project schedules in partnership with field leadership
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with support from internal contracts teams
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks
- Collaborate with Estimating and Business Development teams during pursuit and proposal development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Managers, and project teams
- Champion STRUCTURAL's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of project management experience within commercial construction, concrete restoration, specialty contracting, or related industries
- Proven experience managing projects valued between approximately $5M-$15M
- Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, budgeting, and contract administration
- Experience leading and developing project teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software
