Senior Construction Project Manager

About the role

A Senior Construction Project Manager is needed to lead large-scale repair and restoration projects in the NY City Metro and Long Island City areas. Key responsibilities include managing projects from pre-construction to closeout, overseeing project financials, and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful execution of large-scale repair and restoration projects ranging from approximately $5M to $15M+
• Drive project performance through project planning, execution, financial management, and closeout activities
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, forecast, budget, and cost control
• Develop and manage project schedules in partnership with field leadership
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with support from internal contracts teams
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks
• Collaborate with Estimating and Business Development teams during pursuit and proposal development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Managers, and project teams
• Champion STRUCTURAL's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of project management experience within commercial construction, concrete restoration, specialty contracting, or related industries
• Proven experience managing projects valued between approximately $5M-$15M
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, budgeting, and contract administration
• Experience leading and developing project teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software
