About the role
The Construction Team at Fluidstack is responsible for running construction operations across multiple concurrent gigawatt-scale sites. Key responsibilities include scheduling, cost management, ensuring quality and safety, and driving constructability feedback into design and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Run construction operations across multiple large industrial or mission-critical projects at once.
- Hold General Contractors (GCs) to schedule on jobs where the schedule was initially deemed impossible.
- Read P6 schedules critically and identify realistic float.
- Turn field lessons learned into standards that other projects must follow.
- Make decisions on incomplete information and take ownership of the outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience running construction operations across multiple large industrial or mission critical projects.
- Proven ability to hold GCs to schedule on jobs considered unachievable.
- Ability to critically analyze P6 schedules and identify non-existent float.
- History of turning field learnings into industry-wide standards.
- Experience making decisions under uncertainty and owning the results.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction operations, particularly in large industrial or mission-critical projects.
- Track record of holding General Contractors accountable for project timelines.
- Experience reading and interpreting P6 schedules to identify and correct unrealistic timelines.
- Background in developing and implementing construction standards based on field experiences.
- Proven ability to make strategic decisions despite incomplete information.
