Senior Construction Operations Lead

About the role

The Construction Team at Fluidstack is responsible for running construction operations across multiple concurrent gigawatt-scale sites. Key responsibilities include scheduling, cost management, ensuring quality and safety, and driving constructability feedback into design and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Run construction operations across multiple large industrial or mission-critical projects at once.
• Hold General Contractors (GCs) to schedule on jobs where the schedule was initially deemed impossible.
• Read P6 schedules critically and identify realistic float.
• Turn field lessons learned into standards that other projects must follow.
• Make decisions on incomplete information and take ownership of the outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience running construction operations across multiple large industrial or mission critical projects.
• Proven ability to hold GCs to schedule on jobs considered unachievable.
• Ability to critically analyze P6 schedules and identify non-existent float.
• History of turning field learnings into industry-wide standards.
• Experience making decisions under uncertainty and owning the results.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction operations, particularly in large industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Track record of holding General Contractors accountable for project timelines.
• Experience reading and interpreting P6 schedules to identify and correct unrealistic timelines.
• Background in developing and implementing construction standards based on field experiences.
• Proven ability to make strategic decisions despite incomplete information.
