Senior Construction Operations Lead
About the role
The Construction Team at Fluidstack is responsible for running construction operations across multiple concurrent gigawatt-scale sites. Key responsibilities include setting the operating rhythm between General Contractors (GCs), self-performing crews, and internal teams to ensure blockers are surfaced early, standardizing the construction playbook across sites to ensure the tenth build runs faster and cleaner than the first, and driving constructability feedback into design and manufacturing to engineer field problems out at the source.
Responsibilities
- Run construction operations across multiple concurrent gigawatt-scale sites: schedule, cost, quality, and safety in one view.
- Set the operating rhythm between GCs, self-perform crews, and internal teams so blockers surface weeks before they hit the critical path.
- Standardize the construction playbook across sites so the tenth build runs faster and cleaner than the first.
- Drive constructability feedback into design and manufacturing so field problems get engineered out at the source.
Requirements
- You have extensive experience running construction operations across multiple large industrial or mission-critical projects at once.
- You have a proven track record of holding GCs to schedule on jobs where the schedule was initially deemed impossible.
- You are able to critically review a P6 schedule and identify the float that is not real.
- You have a history of turning field lessons into standards that other projects then had to follow.
- You make decisions on incomplete information and take ownership of the outcomes.
Bonus
- Data center or semiconductor construction experience.
- Modular and prefab delivery expertise.
- Design-build contracting experience.
- Self-perform experience.
