We invite you to bring your education and experience into play as you manage the construction activities for face-paced Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) projects in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of plans, schedules, and work alongside other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.
  • Actively works with the Senior Construction Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Responsible for leadership of the on-site project team management for smaller scale projects.
  • Responsible for subcontractor contract management in coordination with the Senior Construction Manager.
  • Aid in the change order process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Associate Construction Managers.
  • Participate actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
  • Serve as Project Site Safety Leader (in absence of full time EHS Supervisor).
  • Estimate cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.
  • Aid in planning the execution of the startup, commissioning, and closeout processes.
  • Adhere to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices.

Requirements

  • At minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 7+ years’ experience in a construction related field managing industrial engineering and construction projects.
  • Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
  • Travel required (75-100%)

Qualifications

  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage quality, schedule, and budget for multi-discipline fast paced construction projects.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
