Senior Construction Estimator

About the role

Responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and analyzing project budgets. Works closely with project managers to ensure accurate cost projections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyze project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost projections
• Review subcontractor proposals and negotiate pricing
• Stay updated on industry trends and economic factors affecting project costs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction contracts and bidding processes
• Experience with construction software such as Procore or ArchiCAD
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for precision and attention to detail

• $60,000 - $70,000 annually
