Senior Configuration Management Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Configuration Management Specialist to support configuration management of developmental and operational systems. The individual will establish and maintain configuration baselines, manage configuration changes, and ensure appropriate CM processes are implemented throughout the system lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Perform configuration management for developmental and operational systems.
- Create and maintain configuration baselines for development, test, production, and other environments.
- Work with developmental and operational teams to establish and maintain current configuration baselines.
- Develop and modify configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
- Implement configuration management processes throughout the complete system lifecycle.
- Perform change control.
- Conduct configuration audits.
- Use and recommend automated configuration management tools.
- Support source-code control activities for developmental programs.
- Maintain configuration documentation and records.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of Configuration Management experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
- For developmental programs, at least one (1) year of experience using a source-code control system on a developmental program of similar scope and complexity.
- Education/Experience Substitution: Four (4) additional years of Configuration Management experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree. A master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of required experience.
