About the role

The Senior Compliance Specialist will oversee compliance for Arc’s commercial and government contracting activities. This includes reviewing solicitations, monitoring regulations, and ensuring all proposals and contracts adhere to relevant laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Review solicitations to identify compliance, certification, and eligibility requirements
  • Maintain records supporting compliance representations and registrations for good standing in government systems
  • Build and enforce company-wide policies to manage risk
  • Represent Arc credibly to regulators, auditors, and government agencies
  • Support post-award contract compliance as the contracting base grows
  • Organize training for staff to ensure compliance obligations are understood

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in proposal compliance, contracts administration, or government contracts compliance
  • Strong working knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to catch issues under deadline pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement compliance policies and internal controls
  • Clear communication skills, comfortable flagging risk to leadership directly and constructively

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with small business certifications (SBA programs), socioeconomic set-asides, or similar
  • Experience supporting both commercial and government compliance regimes simultaneously
  • Familiarity with SAM.gov, eBuy, GSA schedules, or similar systems
  • Comfortable pushing at a fast but sustainable pace
  • Enthusiasm for boating and the water

Skills

  • Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to build and maintain compliance matrices and supporting documentation

Pay

The base salary for this role is $140,000 annually. Highly competitive equity grants are included with full-time offers, along with semi-annual bonuses tied to impact.

This is a full-time, on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters.
