Accountabilities
- Serve as a trusted compensation advisor to senior leaders and HR partners by providing recommendations that balance market competitiveness, internal equity, and business priorities.
- Lead annual and off-cycle compensation review processes, including market analysis, budget planning, calibration support, and executive-level recommendations.
- Manage complex compensation projects from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, timelines, and business objectives.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and People Operations teams to improve compensation systems, processes, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to enhance compensation workflows, reporting accuracy, analytics, and scalability.
- Provide compensation expertise and insights to support the evolution of products and solutions related to employee performance, development, and rewards.
- Refine career frameworks, leveling structures, and compensation guidelines to support organizational growth.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking, cash and equity modeling, and reporting to ensure competitive and retention-focused programs.
- Prepare and coordinate compensation committee materials, including equity analysis and executive recommendations.
- Maintain strong governance over compensation data, documentation, and processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and audit readiness.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive compensation experience, including ownership of compensation programs and strategic business partnerships.
- Strong experience with compensation modeling, market benchmarking, equity programs, and pay analysis.
- Proven ability to advise senior leaders on compensation decisions, explain trade-offs, and influence outcomes.
- Experience independently managing annual compensation review cycles and cross-functional compensation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of compensation best practices, market trends, regulatory considerations, and governance requirements.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear business recommendations.
- Experience using modern analytics tools, AI-enabled solutions, and automation to improve compensation operations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience designing or administering incentive compensation programs, including sales or corporate bonus structures.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, taking ownership, and proactively identifying solutions.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional compensation certification such as CCP or GRP preferred.
- Experience supporting high-growth SaaS or technology organizations is a plus.
