Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Communications Specialist to lead the planning, development, and execution of strategic communications programs supporting a global Regulatory Affairs (RA) organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated communication strategies and plans for multiple audiences.
- Draft and edit employee communications, including all-employee emails, newsletters, leadership updates, and organizational announcements.
- Provide executive communications support to the VP of Regulatory Affairs and RA leadership team.
- Create presentations, talking points, scripts, videos, all-staff meeting materials, and strategic leadership messaging.
- Maintain the RA communications calendar and coordinate messaging across audiences and channels.
- Translate complex business and technical information into clear, engaging communications.
- Support employee advisory groups, leadership forums, meetings, and communication events.
- Partner across global, cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is aligned and well coordinated.
- Assess communication effectiveness and incorporate feedback to improve messaging and channel strategy.
- Manage multiple communications projects and priorities simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Integrated Marketing, or related field.
- 5–7 years of communications or related experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills.
- Experience developing communication strategies and integrated communication plans.
- Strong employee/internal communications and executive communications experience.
- Experience supporting senior leaders with presentations, talking points, scripts, and strategic messaging.
- Experience working in a large, complex, global, or matrixed organization.
- Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, audiences, deadlines, and communication channels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
- Experience with change communications, employee engagement, global communications, or complex business/technology initiatives.
- Project planning or project management experience.
- Experience supporting town halls, all-staff meetings, leadership forums, or employee advisory groups.
