Senior Commercial Loan Specialist (Hybrid)
About the role
As a Senior Commercial Loan Specialist, you will support commercial lending staff in commercial branches or banking centers. You will process more complex loan closings, attain loan perfection, and service loan customers. You will also support the production of large, complex loans, including those requiring additional monitoring and control.
Responsibilities
- Prepare all loan request documents.
- Gather customer income and net worth information.
- Answer customer questions.
- Order external agency reports such as titles, insurance, etc.
- Prepare commitment letters.
- Arrange for payoff of property liens.
- Cook up loan closings and prepare disbursement checks.
- Close loans by explaining documents to customers.
- Verify loan system accuracy for boarded loans.
- Begun preparation for credit analysis.
- Ensure each loan file meets bank and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with commercial lines.
- Made advances and payments on commercial lines.
- Balanced commercial loan suspense accounts monthly.
- Maintained agricultural lines activity and prepared variance reports.
- Complied with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
Requirements
Education & Certifications: H.S. Diploma: required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Experience: 4 or more years of commercial loan support experience required
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Demonstrate ability to independently produce accurate work in a deadline driven environment.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify document errors or variances and make corrections.
- Ability to deliver professional, responsive customer service.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles with the ability to analyze basic financial statements and cash flows preferred.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and commercial loan systems.
- Advanced knowledge of state and regulatory requirements pertaining to commercial loans.

Compensation & Benefits
Targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience: $30.34-$41.05
Incentive and commission compensation may be awarded for eligible roles
