Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Perfection Group is searching for a skilled senior‑level Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our Nashville, TN service division. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems while delivering high‑quality, customer‑focused service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heating, air‑conditioning, and refrigeration units, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and heat pumps.
• Diagnose service issues, obtain replacement parts, calibrate systems to manufacturer recommendations, and clearly explain problems and solutions to customers.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure ongoing system functionality.
• Travel to job sites within the service area, coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedules, and communicate any delays to customers and dispatch.
• Enter call resolutions using company software and applications.
• Be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to address emergency service needs.
• Create and maintain cordial, collaborative relationships with superiors and co‑workers.
• Participate in company‑ and vendor‑provided training opportunities.
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area and company vehicle.

Requirements

• Universal EPA Certification (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC certification from an accredited program.
• 5–10 years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience.
• Experience with chillers, controls, and HVAC hydronics (preferred).

Schedule

Rotating availability for nights and weekends to meet emergency service demands.
