Senior Coatings and Linings Consultant

Location: Creve Coeur, MO

About the Role

Provides technical or industry knowledge to contribute to the completion of multiple engagement phases. Demonstrates capabilities with moderate oversight and collaborates with senior professionals. May lead small to medium projects or own a portion of a larger project, managing from prospect to client deliverable. Delegates tasks and manages client expectations within defined scope.

Responsibilities

• Transfer knowledge and skills to improve team members' capabilities.
• Enhance working relationships with client organization team members and management.
• Contribute to quality reviews on engagements.
• Ascertain and meet client expectations within the scope of the engagement role.
• Develop knowledge bases using best practices to refine tools and techniques.
• Outline performance measures, targets, and goals to articulate business value.
• Challenge client strategy through persuasive argument and define competitive advantages.
• Formulate issue-based hypotheses and develop analytical plans for testing.
• Analyze the impact of strategic changes by defining linkages and interdependencies.
• Utilize specialized knowledge to produce moderately complex work products across engagement phases.
• Apply appropriate methods to address client needs and resolve technical problems with occasional assistance.
• Develop, present, and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans.
• Identify technical issues impacting engagements and propose solutions.
• Analyze and apply industry best practices.
• Manage client expectations within defined engagement scope (where applicable).
• Recommend resources based on project phases and delegate work to team members.
• Assess engagement risks using defined processes and manage issues in less complex projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a business/consulting environment.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records searches.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of a complete engagement lifecycle and developing business development capability.
• Advanced technical or industry knowledge, with expertise in two or more solution areas.
• Advanced knowledge in one or more aspects of consulting processes.
• Strong human relations skills, including collaboration and team leadership.
• Ability to operate multiple software packages with advanced PC literacy.
• Certifications related to area of expertise (preferred).
