Senior CNC Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on numerical control, computerized numerical control, precision, and conventional machine tools, and other production equipment used in development, manufacture, and testing of products.
• Areas of specialization may include: electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, NC repair, machine tool rebuilding, and electrical production equipment.
• Diagnose and perform major repairs to production equipment.
• Evaluate machine tool condition and repairs for repeatability and reliability.
• Assist in making evaluations and recommendations for improvements on equipment based on maintenance history.
• Operate production equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
• Train and assist lower-level mechanics.

Requirements

• Skills typically acquired through 5 years of machine tool repair experience.
