Senior CNC Machinist

About the role

CSI Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation specializing in the repair of air data probes and aircraft accessories, is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist with a proven track record as a highly skilled machinist. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and understanding of complex blueprints and schematics, set up, programming and operation of CNC machines, and conformance to specifications. A deep knowledge of CNC machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance, is required, along with a strong understanding of quality control analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex machining operations on a variety of materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed drawings
• Monitor and adjust schedule to respond to internal production requirements
• Troubleshoot parts and machine problems
• Coordinate with other departments to achieve company needs, working closely with engineers, supervisors, and other machinists to ensure parts meet design intent
• Responsible for CSI’s tooling design and maintenance, which includes New Product Development and Production tooling
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment
• Perform other related duties as required
