  • Perform hands-on assembly, testing, modification, and rework of systems.
  • Operate and interact with equipment, tooling, and HMI interfaces.
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of test rigs and pilot systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues during builds.
  • Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and build documentation.
  • Provide feedback to engineers on buildability, usability, and assembly challenges.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab and build environment.
  • Support track-side activities during testing and iteration cycles.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in a technician, mechanical assembly, or lab support role, specifically supporting prototyping or build activities.
  • Comfortable building and assisting with mechanical assemblies, operating equipment, and interacting with HMI systems.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work on the floor or in a lab environment.
  • A technical certificate, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred; a software engineering degree is not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, automation, robotics, or material handling systems.
  • Track-side, pilot build, or deployment support experience.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
