Senior CNA - Full-Time Evening

About the role

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment, with over 100 years of experience in quality care. Role: Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) – an experienced caregiver providing resident-centered nursing care in long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and repositioning.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, and supporting psychosocial needs.
• Supporting food service, ensuring positive dining experiences, and assisting with meals.
• Helping with housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean environment.
• Documenting resident interactions, communicating changes to nursing staff, and participating in wellness and recreational programs.
• Leading restorative nursing tasks and adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Two years of clinical or long-term care experience preferred.
• Completion of annual competency testing and ongoing education (minimum 12 hours/year).
• Ability to follow safety protocols, assist with procedures, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• May require a valid driver’s license and medical clearance for driving responsibilities.
