Senior Cloud Engineer IS - Hybrid
About the role
Senior Cloud Engineer in Enterprise Information Services work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, cloud-based services offered to IS and non-IS caregivers. Their technical skills are on par with their Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts.
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage Azure networking components, including VNets, subnets, private endpoints, and ExpressRoute.
- Design, engineer, operate, and administer Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS) solutions, including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Design and provide operational support for complex enterprise network architectures using Azure Hub-and-Spoke networking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Experience in problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
- Creating and managing server images with Packer.
- Configuring Desired State Configuration (DSC) using AWX.
- Implementing security controls such as CIS and NIST.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow.
