Senior Clinical Liaison

Essential Functions

• Counsels patients and determines if they meet admissions criteria.
• Prepares development plans and conducts calls to potential referral sources.
• Presents to potential referral sources.
• Acts as a mentor and provides training to the Liaison staff.
• Coordinates specific marketing and public relations activities as assigned.
• Effectively tracks sales activity, maintains client profiles, and ensures compliance with company’s standards.
• Provides appropriate training for Clinical Liaison staff, including best practices and customer service.
• Provides sales reports and analytics as needed.
• Participates in program development initiatives as assigned.
• Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions.
• Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.
• Completes required trainings, as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

• 4 years healthcare experience required.
• 2 years sales experience in healthcare preferred.
• Clinical licensure required (RN, LVN, PT, OT, SLP preferred).
• Maintain valid, acceptable driving record, current driver’s license, and insurability.

• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Demonstrates an understanding of patient mix, regulatory requirements, reimbursement, etc. that impact overall hospital operations.
• Demonstrates the highest degree of customer service and professionalism.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection prevention standards.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements

• A significant amount of standing, walking, and driving.
• Lifting/exerting of up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to bodily fluids.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to hear overhead pages.
