About the role

WellTheory is a digital health company dedicated to helping individuals with autoimmune conditions manage their health through personalized care, nutrition guidance, and ongoing coaching. Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with enterprise clients, focusing on scaling the organization.
  • Own day-to-day client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and driving engagement, retention, and measurable outcomes.
  • Serve as the strategic advisor to client stakeholders, including HR, benefits, wellness, and medical directors, translating their goals into successful partnership outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Operations, Engineering, and Care teams, reporting to the Co-founder, Operations.
  • Spending time in person is a key part of building relationships, requiring travel between 20-30% of the time, depending on the location.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise client success or account management experience, preferably in digital health, benefits, or related B2B2C environments, with a proven track record of driving retention, renewals, and expansion within complex client ecosystems.
  • A strong relationship-driven communication style, capable of building deep trust with clients at all levels, from day-to-day champions to C-suite executives, and adept at navigating sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
  • A strategic storyteller mindset, turning data into actionable insights and narratives that influence client decisions and demonstrate value.
  • An operational excellence approach, managing complex projects end-to-end with precision, juggling multiple accounts, and bringing structure to ambiguity.
  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial attitude, comfortable starting as a team of one and executing tasks while helping to define the playbook for scale.
  • An adaptable and resourceful approach, creative in problem-solving, calm under pressure, and thriving in a dynamic, fully remote environment.
  • A deep empathy for the autoimmune experience, even without personal experience, allowing genuine connection and understanding with potential customers.
  • A beginner's mindset, enthusiastic about learning, solving problems from the ground up, asking questions freely, and staying open-minded about new approaches.

Qualifications

  • Direct experience in digital health or the autoimmune/chronic condition space.
  • Experience in building a Client Success function from the ground up at an early-stage startup.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.

Pay

A base salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, with placement within the range depending on relevant skills and experiences.

Schedule
