About the Role

The Senior Client Service Manager is accountable for a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the daily delivery of optimal service, operations, and sales to both customers and internal departments through their assigned branch. This role involves leading by example in service, operations, and sales to establish standards for all branch employees, achieved through structured coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Branch Manager and/or Branch Banking Regional Manager, supporting daily employee coaching routines to produce measurable improvements in service, operations, and sales.
  • Conduct daily employee training, coaching, and mentoring to identify opportunities for cross-sell, account retention, and acquisition of new deposit relationships (personal and business).
  • Ensure sales effectiveness for both new and existing customer relationships, with a focus on ethical sales practices and customer benefit.
  • Maintain operational integrity, ensuring the branch meets all audit and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Actively participate in community organizations that align with the bank’s core values.
  • Partner effectively with other bank departments in operations, service, and sales.
  • Make and log client contact calls to maintain annual engagement with customers.
  • Act as the control point for the office to ensure compliance with CIP, BSA, OFAC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Lead ongoing recruiting efforts to identify, recruit, and retain top talent for the branch.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of branch experience managing employees and/or sales/operations.
  • Knowledge of business products and services, bank policies, Bank Secrecy Act, privacy laws, and federal banking regulations.
  • Compliance with state and federal banking regulations, including BSA, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, and information security.
  • Ability to be decisive, hold team members accountable, and drive action.

Skills

  • Proficiency in desktop computers and standard office equipment (copiers, fax machines).
  • Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
  • Effective communication and partnership-building skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Repetitive movement and prolonged sitting.
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects.
  • Office setting with controlled temperature.

This position is deemed sensitive, requiring a minimum absence of one week each calendar year. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed.
