Senior Client Manager, Construction – Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage a book of Property & Casualty business, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on risk management and insurance solutions.
Lead client strategy, including coverage design, renewals, and retention initiatives.
Assess client risk exposures and design appropriate insurance programs.
Market accounts to carriers, compile underwriting information, and negotiate terms.
Support day-to-day servicing including endorsements, certificates, billing, and coverage inquiries.
Ensure all client deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant.
Prepare proposals, stewardship reports, and client communications.
Monitor service execution and resolve issues proactively.
Collaborate with Sales, Client Executives, and internal teams to achieve growth and retention goals.
Support onboarding of new clients and ensure seamless integration.
Maintain strong relationships with carrier partners and internal stakeholders.
Support business growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Participate in special projects, initiatives, and process improvements.
Contribute to training and development of team members.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and service delivery.
Stay current on industry trends, carrier appetites, and market conditions.
Promote best practices and operational excellence.
Deliver high-quality client outcomes aligned with business goals.
Maintain accuracy, compliance, and reliability of all client service work.
Drive client retention and satisfaction.
Build strong internal and external relationships.
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and sound decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Property & Casualty License.
5–10+ years of commercial lines experience.
Prior client management experience in Property & Casualty.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and execute effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree or equivalent professional experience.
Advanced industry designations or certifications.
Experience in complex or large client environments.
