Senior Civil Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Civil Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion. This role requires extensive experience in project management, design, and construction oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil infrastructure projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local and national standards.
• Lead teams of engineers and technicians to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Qualifications

• Experience with project management methodologies such as PMI’s PMP certification.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay
