Senior Civil Engineer / Land Development
About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Land Development to join our talented Civil team. This role involves managing and delivering complex land development projects for key clients and contributing to the rapid expansion of our presence in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver complex land development projects for a variety of clients
- Maintain close relationships with clients throughout the development process and after completion
- Prepare project approaches, scopes, and fees required to complete projects
- Present proposals to clients, interview for projects, and select project teams
- Determine major project design decisions in conjunction with client
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering field of study
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina
- Experienced with design, construction, and management of land development and/or municipal projects
- Demonstrated experience in client management; ability to lead and mentor staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of ten (10) years previous experience
- Previous experience managing land development projects
- Previous experience managing a staff and serving as a technical mentor for junior level staff
- Current affiliation and/or membership with local, state or national Civil Engineering societies and associations
Benefits
This opportunity offers a competitive base salary within the range of $130,000 to $150,000, depending on skill set and experience. We also offer:
