Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and construction of infrastructure and facilities projects at Kennedy Space Center.
• Deliver technical guidance and review design packages.
• Support construction activities involving utilities design, site development, paving and grading, drainage systems, stormwater design and modeling.

Skills

• Experience with Storm Wise (formerly ICPR), ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and WaterCAD/SewerCAD preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Pro, AutoCAD, and cost estimating software.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong grammar, spelling, and technical report writing.
• Capable of walking on uneven surfaces up to 1 mile, standing for extended periods in heat and various weather conditions.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders without assistance.
• Able to bend and reach to visually inspect equipment installations and site conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 12 years' experience in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.
