About the role

We are now hiring a Circuit Design Engineer for Standard Cell Characterization. NVIDIA seeks to grow its research and development for Inference, specializing in GPU-accelerated Deep Learning software.

Responsibilities

  • Work on cutting-edge processor design in deep submicron technologies and standard cell library design and characterization.
  • Drive concepts of transistor-level circuit design, modeling, and performance analysis.
  • Support and develop tools using Perl/Python.
  • Contribute to improving existing tools and flows, and developing new simulations for timing, power, noise, and OCV evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on library issues, enhancing quality checks on library work.

Requirements

  • MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience preferred
  • Strong background in deep submicron process issues
  • Deep understanding of standard cell library design, verification, and characterization
  • Experience in generating timing, power, noise, and OCV views of standard cells
  • Knowledge of Liberty models and their application to digital implementation and signoff flows
  • Hands-on experience running SPICE simulation and adapting to new simulation tools
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, Make, and automation methods/algorithms (plus)
  • Excellent team-work, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, be hard-working, and results-oriented
  • Past standard cell library or IP characterization experience (plus)

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $136,000 - $218,500 for Level 3, and $168,000 - $264,500 for Level 4
  • Eligibility for equity and benefits
