About the role
We are now hiring a Circuit Design Engineer for Standard Cell Characterization. NVIDIA seeks to grow its research and development for Inference, specializing in GPU-accelerated Deep Learning software.
Responsibilities
- Work on cutting-edge processor design in deep submicron technologies and standard cell library design and characterization.
- Drive concepts of transistor-level circuit design, modeling, and performance analysis.
- Support and develop tools using Perl/Python.
- Contribute to improving existing tools and flows, and developing new simulations for timing, power, noise, and OCV evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on library issues, enhancing quality checks on library work.
Requirements
- MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience preferred
- Strong background in deep submicron process issues
- Deep understanding of standard cell library design, verification, and characterization
- Experience in generating timing, power, noise, and OCV views of standard cells
- Knowledge of Liberty models and their application to digital implementation and signoff flows
- Hands-on experience running SPICE simulation and adapting to new simulation tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, Make, and automation methods/algorithms (plus)
- Excellent team-work, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to learn quickly, be hard-working, and results-oriented
- Past standard cell library or IP characterization experience (plus)

Benefits
- Base salary range: $136,000 - $218,500 for Level 3, and $168,000 - $264,500 for Level 4
- Eligibility for equity and benefits
