Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end change management activities across two Merchant Services organizations.
  • Drive strategy and execution for stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, and adoption.
  • Communicate with clarity and precision—verbally, in writing, and through presentations—to senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and technical partners.
  • Translate complex information into concise messaging, executive decks, and summaries.
  • Effectively manage up, across, and with peers, influencing without authority at multiple levels.
  • Navigate and resolve conflict professionally; facilitate alignment and consensus across differing viewpoints.
  • Lead, coach, and support others as needed, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Operate with a solutions-oriented mindset, independently solving problems and anticipating needs without requiring step-by-step direction.
  • Adhere to established processes and governance while remaining approachable, engaging, and professional.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to support large-scale transformation initiatives within Merchant Banking (required experience).

Qualifications

  • Proven senior-level change management experience, ideally within financial services, merchant banking, or merchant services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from peers to executives.
  • Strong executive presence with polished written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional ability to condense complex messages into fewer words without losing meaning (critical to success in this role).
  • Clear evidence of driving outcomes through specific actions—candidates must articulate what they personally delivered, not just what should be done.
  • Experience leading or coaching others.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs.
  • Professional conflict-resolution skills; confident and assertive while maintaining respectful dialogue.
  • Experience supporting merchant banking or merchant services transformation initiatives is non-negotiable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including: PowerPoint – ability to create concise, high-impact executive-level decks, Excel, Word, SharePoint experience (site management, document organization, posting communications).
  • Strong general technology aptitude with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
