Senior Care Assistant -Nights

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to work nights at Ruckland Court Care Home in Lincoln, LN1. This position is part of The Country Court Family, a growing network of care homes dedicated to providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs
• Administering and monitoring of medications to residents
• Serving residents at meal times
• Mentoring and assisting new employees
• Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs
• Planning, allocating, and supervising the work of the team of care assistants

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant and leading a team
• A friendly and caring attitude
• Experience administering medication
• Ability to engage well with residents and their families
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to pursue this qualification
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

Working nights, 33 hours per week, including weekends on a rota (Shift Times: 1900 - 0700).
