Care Assistant (Nights)
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team at Rosepark Care Home for 45 hours on the Night Shift. Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, supporting and encouraging meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection. Night-shift Care Assistants are essential, participating in person-centred activities through 1:1 care and promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.
The role ensures the highest quality, person-centred care for all residents by supporting the delivery of individual care plans, promoting independence and choice, and ensuring residents' voices are heard in all aspects of care and support. The role is varied and versatile, with no two shifts the same.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care
- Promote a positive mealtime experience to enhance nutrition and hydration
- Support meaningful connections and create 1:1 meaningful activities
- Uphold the values of People, Friendly, Passionate, and Inclusion
- Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Requirements
- Effective communicator
- SVQ2 and previous experience in the care sector are beneficial but not essential (full training provided)
