About the Role

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we're looking for talented people who want to help. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

We're seeking a Senior Supply Capacity Delivery Reliability Planner to lead end-to-end capacity and planning orchestration across strategic, enterprise, operational, and tactical levels in our global cloud infrastructure organization. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of driving step-change capabilities and business process transformations in SIOP environments. They should have experience delivering tangible improvements in speed, accuracy, visibility, and cross-functional alignment. In this role, you will be a key architect in transforming critical aspects of our operations. Specifically, you will lead efforts to revolutionize how demand is captured, capacity is allocated, and infrastructure is built at a hyperscale level.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Level: Define and evolve multi-year cloud infrastructure strategies aligned with business growth, sustainability, and global risk trends. Lead cross-functional strategic capacity modeling to support emerging workloads (such as AI/ML and HPC) and future region expansions. Drive long-term innovation in planning frameworks and digital planning tools to support dynamic business shifts.
  • Enterprise Level: Deliver enterprise-wide SIOP transformations that break down silos between engineering, supply chain, finance, manufacturing, and infrastructure delivery. Design and implement scenario-based capacity planning, integrating hardware, power, land, and construction considerations. Establish a resilient planning governance model with visibility from executive reviews to regional deployment readiness.
  • Operational Level: Translate strategic demand into executable regional build and fulfillment plans, managing infrastructure readiness across supply constraints. Lead cross-regional planning standardization and continuous improvement efforts to reduce cycle time and increase delivery velocity. Drive alignment between planning, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure predictable outcomes.
  • Tactical Level: Orchestrate the execution of plans and handle exceptions across global regions. Monitor fulfillment signals, adjust plans in real-time, and escalate barriers to delivery to ensure near-zero disruption. Deploy automation and advanced analytics to proactively identify and solve risks and bottlenecks.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
  • 5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to integrated planning, SIOP/IBP, or operations roles with global scope

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and executing SIOP transformations that resulted in measurable improvements in forecast accuracy, service levels, and delivery velocity
  • Background in demand planning, capacity planning, material planning, production planning etc. across multiple industries
  • Experience in cloud, hyperscale technology, or complex infrastructure supply chains
  • Proven success in leading business process transformation and implementing step-change planning capabilities across organizations
  • Advanced fluency in planning platforms and scenario modeling techniques
  • Strong business acumen and stakeholder influence — able to operate effectively from boardroom to build floor
  • MBA, or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related fields
