Senior CADD Technician (Civil3D)

About the role

Work within the site civil discipline, with minimal direction from the Engineer or other technical professional.
Be responsible for the civil design plans and models for multiple projects within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Skilled with AutoCAD and Civil3D to produce the designs identified in the Digital Delivery requirements.
  • Produce design documents that follow company and/or client CADD design standards.
  • Accurately model civil BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using AutoDesk Civil3D.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, & diagrams of the design within the project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain the civil discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets.
  • Monitor, improve, and maintain company standards. Coordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes.
  • Execute all Digital Delivery requirements identified on the project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in AutoDesk AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
  • Experience with large land development projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years related industry experience.
  • Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
  • Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tool.
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
  • Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits are essential.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Pay Transparency Ohio: $26.83/hr - $44.07/hr.
