Senior CAD Operator (Civil Engineering) | Richmond, VA | Bohler

About the role

You’ll produce high-quality civil site plans that bring design intent to life and shape communities across the Virginia area.

What You’ll Do

• Draft detailed site plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for grading, utilities, and drainage
• Apply client and jurisdictional standards to project deliverables
• Perform quality control checks and ensure adherence to Bohler CAD standards
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet deadlines
• Utilize AutoTURN, Bluebeam, and other tools for design refinement
• Provide technical guidance and support to CAD team members

Who You Are

• High School diploma or technical certificate in computer-aided design (or equivalent)
• 2+ years of CAD experience in civil engineering or land development
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
