Responsibilities
- Generate custom 2020 layouts and elevations.
- Compete with high-end residential and multi-family home builders.
- Coordinate estimates from subcontractors.
- Communicate with the project manager, vendors, and other departmental personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Work with sales personnel to design and develop kitchen layouts within the parameters of the client’s space and budget.
- Negotiate and issue purchase orders and contracts, price.
- Use estimating tools and procedures in drawings, specifications, supplier quotations, engineering standards, and other information to provide material takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Solve problems systematically and logically.
- Show open-mindedness and creative thinking.
- Adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and root cause capabilities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Excel and other takeoff software.
- Proficiency in using Adobe and AutoCAD for drawing and 2D/3D modeling.
- Solid knowledge of the kitchen & bath design process.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with contractors and homeowners.
- Reading blueprints, floor plans, and cabinet layouts.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multifamily projects and priorities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degrees in engineering, Architecture, and Construction Management are preferred, or related field experience is required.
- At least five years of experience as an estimator, architect, or related position, preferably in cabinetry, construction, or a related area.

Work Location and Schedule
In person. Full-time position with an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, starting at 8 am to 5 pm.
