Senior Buyer/Planner

About the role

The Senior Buyer/Planner will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and ensuring timely delivery to meet production needs. This role requires strong negotiation skills and an understanding of global supply chain dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate terms with suppliers for raw materials and components
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and availability
• Manage inventory levels to optimize cost and minimize waste
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Proven ability to manage complex supply chains and negotiate effectively with suppliers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software
