Senior Buyer/Planner

About the role

The Senior Buyer/Planner is responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and ensuring timely delivery to meet production needs. They also manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Sources and negotiates contracts with suppliers for raw materials and components.
• Manages supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
• Ensures compliance with all procurement policies and procedures.
• Monitors inventory levels and forecasts demand to optimize stock management.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven track record in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English.
