Senior Business Systems Analyst - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a contract to hire opportunity with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH. This role is 4 days onsite in Columbus, OH. W2 candidates only, please. Pay Range: $47.00-57.00 per hour This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, leading complex initiatives that support strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate combines business analysis, technical analysis, Agile delivery, data analysis, and production support to ensure successful implementation and operation of enterprise technology solutions. You will partner with developers, architects, QA teams, cybersecurity teams, and business partners to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Responsibilities: Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex initiativesTranslate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specificationsAnalyze application functionality, integrations, APIs, data flows, and system dependenciesIdentify process improvements and recommend technology solutionsSupport Agile teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release activitiesTrack deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issue resolutionPerform data analysis and validation using SQL and reporting toolsDocument data mappings, interface requirements, and integration specificationsPartner with development and cybersecurity teams to address security vulnerabilities and remediation effortsAssist with test planning, user acceptance testing, and defect resolutionSupport incident management, problem management, and root cause analysisServe as liaison between business units, technology teams, and third-party vendorsMentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field OR 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications and technology initiativesKnowledge of SDLC, application architecture, and system integrationsExperience working with APIs, web services, microservices, and enterprise applicationsSQL experience with the ability to analyze and validate dataExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Desired skills: Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar toolsUnderstanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practicesExperience supporting vulnerability management and remediation effortsKnowledge of application security, compliance, and regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or AppDynamicsExperience supporting enterprise applications in financial services or other highly regulated industries Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
