About The Role

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Finance & Accounting, your primary responsibility will be to partner with Finance and Accounting teams to evaluate system processes, define technical requirements, and deliver efficient, well-controlled solutions. Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to analyze end-to-end financial processes, identify operational bottlenecks, and define clear business and technical requirements
  • Design scalable future-state solutions, process flows, data mappings, and decision logic while partnering with technical teams and software vendors
  • Perform hands-on technical analysis and data troubleshooting across enterprise Finance applications, integrations and workflows
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production readiness, and post-deployment validation to ensure delivered capabilities meet expectations
  • Identify opportunities to leverage intelligent automation and AI tools to streamline financial workflows and elevate operational efficiency
  • Incorporate financial controls, SOX compliance, auditability, and data security requirements into solution designs while balancing operational usability

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience (typically 5+ years, or 3+ years with an advanced degree) as a Finance Business Systems Analyst supporting core financial and accounting processes
  • Strong hands-on technical and analytical skills with enterprise Finance platforms (ERP, billing, procurement, reporting) and data query tools like SQL is a bonus
  • Solid understanding of financial controls, SOX compliance, data governance, and segregation of duties within enterprise application environments
  • Strong accountability to take ownership of end-to-end deliverables from discovery through post-implementation support
  • Clear communication and facilitation skills, capable of bridging technical details and business priorities while building consensus among stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across finance and IT, working collaboratively to navigate ambiguity and deliver scalable business outcomes
  • Skilled in sound decision-making, evaluating process trade-offs, and translating complex business requests into structured, actionable functional specifications
  • Proactive mindset toward continuous improvement, eagerly embracing process change, intelligent automation, and emerging AI technologies to solve business challenges

Pay

The annual salary range for this role, depending on location, is: United States: $102,300 - $138,300 USD. Salary ranges may vary based on geographical location. This range does not include variable/incentive compensation, equity and benefits (where applicable/eligible).
