About the role

The Sr. Campaign Business Systems Analyst will contribute to and execute client multi-channel campaigns and ad-hoc reporting deliverables, ranging from simple, recurring campaigns to large, complex analytic extracts. This role involves scoping, documenting, designing, QA, and producing marketing campaigns while serving as a liaison between the client, their partners, and internal account teams. A strong emphasis is placed on SQL-based campaign execution and AI-enabled analysis and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and execute multi-channel campaigns using SQL-based campaign tools and internal platforms (e.g., Adobe Campaign or IBM Unica Campaign experience is a plus but not required).
  • Use SQL to build audience segments, define selection logic, and support campaign workflows and analytic extracts.
  • Investigate data issues related to campaigns and audience selections.
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective, operationally efficient campaign procedures that meet user requirements.
  • Utilize generative AI tools (such as Copilot and ChatGPT) to streamline the campaign lifecycle—from requirements gathering and design through development and QA/QC.
  • Support quality and user acceptance testing, including creating test cases and executing tests for marketing campaigns and campaign logic.
  • Analyze complex business problems and translate them into scalable, automated campaign solutions.
  • Support issue management from identification through resolution, including root cause analysis on data and campaign logic.
  • Mentor Campaign BSA team members on campaign design, data analysis, and technical needs.
  • Support and mentor client campaign resources, helping them understand campaign capabilities, data usage, and best practices.
  • Schedule and lead team meetings, sending follow-up notes with clear action items.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues related to campaign execution and data.
  • Work with clients, external vendors, and account teams to maintain delivery and deployment schedules and meet agreed SLAs.
  • Follow the campaign calendar and manage deliverables to ensure on-time execution and quality.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with AI and generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) and their practical application in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, QA, and process improvement.
  • Working knowledge of marketing concepts and end-to-end marketing execution, particularly in multi-channel campaign environments.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQL (core requirement).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand both business and technical language and ideas.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements, assess completeness, obtain missing information, and translate requirements into accurate and timely campaigns/reports.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Ability to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and ensure program delivery and quality control.
  • Ability to prioritize work and shift priorities to meet aggressive deadlines and milestones.
  • Ability to assess situations, receive stakeholder input, and select a course of action.
  • Effective collaboration with local, remote, and global team members.
  • Ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data, making well-reasoned recommendations to support business and marketing objectives.

Skills

  • Required: Working knowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
  • Preferred (Nice to Have):
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Campaign management/execution tool.
    • Working knowledge of Unica Campaign management/execution tool.
    • Experience with other campaign management platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in campaign execution, marketing technology, business systems analysis, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Data/Analytics, or a related discipline.

Pay

Compensation Range: USD $73,150.00 - USD $101,010.00/Annually. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience, consistent with applicable law.
