Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships across business units and act as the trusted liaison between the business and IT.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions, analyze business processes, and translate findings into clear functional specifications and design documents.
- Ensure that system initiatives and process changes align with broader company goals and strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve how the business uses its core systems, with an eye toward measurable outcomes.
- Contribute to ongoing Infor ERP initiatives, including configuration, enhancements, integrations with external systems, and migration activities.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to design, test, and deploy solutions that meet business needs and technical standards.
- Lead initiatives using both waterfall and agile approaches, managing scope, risk, and change while escalating issues appropriately.
- Triage application issues, coordinate fixes with technical teams and vendors, and ensure stable, reliable system operation for end users.
- Engage with vendors and service providers to represent the company's best interests during evaluations, negotiations, and ongoing partnerships.
- Lead meetings, present to audiences at all levels, and translate technical concepts into language non-technical stakeholders can act on.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, MIS, or a related field, with at least 5 years of IT experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience gathering and analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, supporting application design, working with developers, and conducting unit and regression testing.
- Solid experience supporting a major enterprise ERP platform such as Infor (LN, M3, or CloudSuite), SAP, or Oracle, including implementations, enhancements, change management, and complex integrations with external systems.
- Proven experience leading projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies, with the ability to manage scope, risk, and change effectively.
- Fluent written and verbal English, with strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers across a global organization.
- Able to hold a big-picture view of project vision and goals while working through detailed analysis and configuration activities.
- Working understanding of workforce analytics and dashboard configuration.
- Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%, with a current passport.
- Strong analytical, listening, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative style that works well across cultures and functions.
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and the execution of application-related controls is desired.
- Experience supporting a global manufacturer is preferred.
- Proficiency in a second language given is desired.
