Senior Business Operations Manager, AWS Talent Acquisition
Rhythm of the Business
Enable the aligned TA leader to effectively run and inspect their business through structured operational cadences
Run and write internal and external-facing WBRs, MBRs, and team meetings on behalf of the leader
Track and report progress on goals set forth by the leader
Manage headcount and budget on behalf of the leader
Own org all-hands content, team communications, and strategic documents on behalf of the leader
Embed deeply into the strategy and deliverables of the aligned TA leader's business
Analytics
Serve as the primary point of contact for all business-facing and internal-facing reports, dashboards, and data insights
Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting to support WBR/MBR meetings and strategy documents
Maintain expertise in all relevant Recruiting, Finance, and HR Analytics-owned dashboards
Act as the primary liaison to analytics and provide last-mile analytics support for the aligned TA team
Own and drive the analytics roadmap for the aligned TA organization
Project Management
Lead and project manage initiatives on behalf of the leader
Drive outcomes through influence, leading without authority and through others
Own the work delegation process and track all in-flight projects across multiple owners
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
