Senior Business Manager, Product Analytics

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager for the Retail Bank’s Product Analytics team. You will help shape a wide range of innovative consumer-facing and platform experiences across the Retail Bank. Your work will directly influence product direction, investment decisions, and the product vision for the Retail Bank.
This is a highly collaborative role in which you will problem-solve alongside partners and leadership in Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Finance, and others. You will be responsible for growing a team of product analysts and contributing to the growing product analytics community.
Responsibilities
- Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands.
- Coach and mentor associates to develop and retain talent.
- Develop and implement new product measurement frameworks and strategies for various digital products; lead product-level data modeling and analytics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in experimentation. Design and implement experiments across a variety of product experiences, interpret results, and guide the development of advanced analytics tools and models.
- Manage and sequence delivery of product intent, build business requirements, and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
- Work closely with colleagues across Capital One, including Product, Tech, and Finance, to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
- Guide product teams using data and insights, develop hypotheses, and employ rigorous analytical approaches to test them. Define success metrics and surface insights on new opportunities and challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience performing qualitative analysis.
- At least 1 year of experience performing people management.
- At least 1 year of experience performing project management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis.
- 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis.
- 2+ years of experience in people management.
- 2+ years of experience in product development.
- 2+ years of experience in financial modeling.
- 2+ years of experience in economic forecasting.
- 2+ years of experience in project management.
- Previous consulting experience.

Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on agreed-upon hours.
- McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Business Manager.
- New York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Business Manager.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
