About the role

A collegial national law firm with a well-regarded immigration practice is seeking a Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to join its team in Midtown Atlanta. This is a permanent, full-time position supporting attorneys on a wide range of complex employment-based immigration matters, including PERM labor certifications, immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions, adjustment of status, and consular processing.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced law firm environment
  • Prepare and manage employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including PERM, I-140, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, H-1B, L-1, E-1/E-2, TN, and other nonimmigrant and immigrant matters
  • Prepare responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other government correspondence
  • Ensure timely completion of filings and case milestones with minimal supervision
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding case status, documentation, and filing requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of U.S. employment-based immigration experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate immigration setting
  • Strong experience preparing and managing employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including PERM, I-140, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, H-1B, L-1, E-1/E-2, TN, and other nonimmigrant and immigrant matters
  • Experience preparing responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other government correspondence
  • Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring timely completion of filings and case milestones
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional client-facing communication regarding case status, documentation, and filing requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience with immigration case management systems
  • Knowledge of current immigration laws, policies, and procedures, and a commitment to staying current as they evolve
  • Professional client-service mindset and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff
  • Outstanding professional references

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
